Meet Nathan, our Academy Manager.

Nathan has just finished his first year with Icon, where he has already added had a considerable positive impact.

Nathan has consistently worked at the highest level in England, starting at only 17 years old at Sunderland AFC where he worked for 8 years. Nathan has worked with and nurtured some of the finest talent to be produced out of the North East of England, some of which are now playing professional football in the English Premier League.

Before joining Icon, he was head of an Academy System at a National Club in England, exposing CAT 1 ideologies and curriculums to some of the finest talent outside of EFL setups.

Nathan promises a bright future for all at Icon.

Meet Fraser, our Head of Football here at Icon Football Academy.

With over ten years of coaching and Academy Lead experience in England, working with a wide range of abilities, coupled with working in Recruitment and Talent Identification with one of the North East of England's most successful professional football clubs, Fraser brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on and off the pitch, promising a bright future for Icon Football Academy.

FOOTBALL LEAD COACH

Meet Luke, Icon's Football Lead Coach.

Luke has over 12 years coaching experience, beginning his journey at just 16 years old, working with and developing talent within the Manchester City Academy setup until he was 22.

Luke then transitioned to the highest level of Grassroots coaching in England at Manchester Corinthians, when he led his teams to numerous successful campaigns, including the Best of the North West Tournament and the England National Championships.

Luke's passion and commitment for nurturing young talent within the game and Icon Football Academy is truly Iconic.

FOOTBALL LEAD COACH

Kieran has been involved in coaching since the age of 16, gaining valuable experience across all age groups—from U6s to senior teams—within grassroots football. He has led both training sessions and match days, with a strong focus on creating a positive, high-performance environment. Kieran believes that building strong relationships with players is key to unlocking their full potential and achieving success on and off the pitch.

After graduating as a student from Access Sport College, Kieran joined the staff team and has spent the last three years contributing to the college’s rapid growth. He has played an integral role in the exciting partnership with Hebburn Town FC, a forward-thinking non-league club focused on community development and footballing success.

Kieran’s diverse responsibilities have included coaching, assisting in education delivery, and leading on recruitment—developing a well-rounded foundation in both football and education.
